EXIS is an experimental film and video festival based in Seoul, focused on expanding the diversity of Korean cinema by presenting experimental films annually. As the festival has grown, the need to enhance its identity to appeal to a global audience became evident.

For this rebrand, I aimed to embody the creativity of experimental filmmakers while incorporating cultural elements of Korea to attract international viewers. By using traditional Korean patterns and simplifying the form, the new identity visualizes an idea of opening a door, representing new perspectives and challenges that experimental filmmakers go through.
